Development Update: Old Mana Game Progress

Class Creation Complete, Playtesting Up Next

We’re thrilled to announce that all six classes in Old Mana Game are now fully developed! The next step is in-depth playtesting for each class, which will first take place in a closed playtesting environment. Here, we’ll refine each card until it reaches a balanced and polished final form. Once the closed phase wraps up, we’ll shift into beta playtesting, where we’ll bring Old Mana Game to local communities to gather hands-on feedback. We’re estimating about two months for this stage, allowing us to showcase the game and ensure the ultimate play experience.

Mercenaries in Progress

In parallel, we’re making great strides with the Mercenaries, a distinctive card set designed to add more strategy and depth. Currently, around 100 Mercenary cards are being developed, with the possibility of adding up to 50 more, depending on playtesting results and community input.

Card Back Selection: A Community Decision

Our card back design is one remaining decision, and given its significance as a visual anchor, we want the community to help decide. Once we have a solid player base, we’ll organize a vote to choose the card back that best represents Old Mana Game, allowing players to have a say in this permanent choice.

Website Nearly Complete

The website is nearing completion, with a sleek and user-friendly design optimized for desktops and fully functional across mobile and tablet devices. Minor adjustments are still underway to enhance responsiveness for all platforms, ensuring smooth navigation for everyone.

Kickstarter Campaign Preparation

After finalizing the website, we’ll dive into preparing our Kickstarter campaign. In the meantime, we encourage everyone interested to join our waitlist for updates and a chance to be part of our closed-beta playtest group. This early sign-up gives access to exclusive insights and progress updates, along with a first look at what’s to come.
